Hello everyone, I tried sending this message yesterday but there was
a
problem. Anyway, welcome to November. Activity was slow this morning
but
in mid-afternoon the hawks were moving. Wind was from the west for
most
of the day and very strong. Other species seen today and numbers:
eastern
phoebe (1), barn swallow (>200), tree swallow (>50), rough-winged
swallow
(>30), swallow sp. (500), eastern meadowlark (10), white pelican
(27),
common loon (3), snow goose (>150), white-fronted goose (>300),
common
snipe (1), roseate spoonbill (2), wood stork (2), yellow-rumped
warbler
(16), blue-gray gnatcatcher (1), song sparrow (1). Just a reminder,
the
