Great-horned owls were calling when I arrived and Kestrels were up before the
sun. Dickcissels, warblers, buntings, swallows, pelicans the air was full
early. 8am came and so did the heavy equipment, asphalt, gravel and trucks,
trucks, trucks. Our ears hurt but the parking lot is finally finished(I
hope). The hawks didn't seem to mind.Hawks got high in the middle of the
morning and I wished I could find those specks in the telescope as easily as
Kyle does. Fortunately most eventually came close enough to Id.
