A fine day they went high early and were moving. Our necks are tired but we
are pleased. They got lower after 3 and Cooper's Hawks were tormenting all
the local birds this evening. Lots of passerines were coming down this
morning I counted over 100 Dickcissels by call. We saw warblers diving into
the woods but didn't have time to look for them.
