Hello to all. Thanks to those of you who answered Winnie's call and
volunteered your time today. Thankfully, we were rewarded with some
hawks. We also must have seen a record number of "love-bugs" swarming the
tower. Skies today were clear but hazy, not easy to see the higher
Broad-wingeds. Today's count:

3 Osprey
114 Mississippi Kite
7 Northern Harrier
1 Sharp-shinned Hawk
5 Cooper's Hawk
406 Broad-winged Hawk
3 American Kestrel
1 Merlin
10 Unidentified raptor

550 Total Hawks

Until tomorrow,
Kyle McCarty
