Kyle says that on Sunday there was a storm moving towards Smith Point from
the NW and many of the kites streamed in ahead of the storm he had a kettle
of 500 for a while unusual for Smith Point . Joe Whitehead (a Smith Point
native) talks about thousands one August day. I wonder if they had NW winds
that Day also.
