Hazel Bazemore Hawk Watch, Fall 1999
Date:   09-08-99

Greetings all:

Here's today's news from the hill:

------------------

Patty,

It rained all around Hazel Bazemore but missed us until 4 o'clock. In between we had a decent day and yet another rarity for the park, a second summer Greater Black-backed Gull.
Lots of good looks through the scope and then it circled around for a pass overhead, it's one large gull!!

2 Osprey
1 Swallow-tailed Kite
264 Mississippi Kite
1 Broad-winged Hawk
1 Swainson's Hawk
2 Red-tailed Hawk
1 White-tailed Hawk (sub-adult)
8 Unidentified Raptor

Total 280

- Joel
