This morning began with near optimal conditions for the Buteos to do
their thing.   However, the conditions deteriorated -or developed rather-
into a refreshing shower, threatening thunderheads, and a fair number of
birds and diversity.
 

        The following data are the totals from Dick Benoit's efforts prior to
the official count start date.  I am still waiting for a big group of
Swallow- Tailed Kites like Dick Witnessed: 19 in a group!  We've added
these into the totals above.
