today we did not see the sun at all. the Mississippi Kites rose early and
stuck around for over two hours --a complete lack of thermals. they
finally disappeared into the NE. maybe someone in Houston saw them come
through. smaller groups were spotted later on, as well. there was an
impressive afternoon storm that dumped on us just as we were deciding to
pack up. so we're a little wet, but looking forward to the weekend. hope
to see some of you on the tower!
