Hazel Bazemore Hawk Watch, Fall 1998

The hill today (11/11) was cold and windy. The first half hour was beautiful. Then the heavy clouds blew in and the wind picked up. All the hawks on the count today were seen within an hour period.

A lot of ducky type birds were seen today; 484 of the fast, little, black dots flew across the sky.
