Hazel Bazemore Hawk Watch, Fall 1998

Report Date:  09/14/98

The total sounds real good, but over 500 were seen in less than 30 busy
minutes, and then the rains started across the migration path in Odem
(that's about seven miles north/northeast of the watch, as the hawk flies,
and the general direction from which most of the migrants come, of course).
We probably had many go around us to the west.
