If you are seeking learning circles, drum circles and good fellowship, you'll want to come to our circle! GENERAL MEETINGS: are held at the Flour Bluff Library every first Monday, starting at 7:00pm. Visitors are welcome. DRUM CIRCLE: If you are looking for a drum circle, check out our Flour Bluff Circle of Thunder. We meet at the Flour Bluff Library, 2629 Waldron Road, Corpus Christi, Texas (78418) every other Wednesday from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Go to the west side patio. The drum is an open, learning drum (males and females both welcome) and meets the first and third Wednesdays of each month. November 2009 drums will be held on the 4th and 18th. LEARNING CIRCLE: held at the Antonio E. Garcia Arts & Education Center, 2021 Agnes St. Corpus Christi, TX (361) 882-7837. Next Learning Circle: December 13, 2009 (working with buckskin regalia). CORPUS CHRISTI HAWKWATCH: Each fall, the Gulf Coast Indian Confederation conducts a Native American Blessing Ceremony for the Corpus Christi Hawkwatch, honoring the passage of the birds of prey we all hold sacred. The 12th annual Native American blessing ceremony for Fall 2009 was held at 11:00am on Sunday, September 27 at the hawk watch platform at Hazel Bazemore County Park.
