The assignment ... WILDFLOWERS PT 2, SELF-PORTRAIT PT 2, MIRRORS

The trifecta assignment for May's meeting continues some of the lessons and challenges from March. Bring in WILDFLOWERS PT 2, especially if you haven't shot any yet. Texas wildflowers are very poor this season, due to lack of rain at proper times and severe drought conditions that started in fall 2008 and continue to this day.

The SELF-PORTRAIT PT 2 assignment for this month changes it up a bit. This time, bring in at least one self-portrait that features something special about you. Your personality, your interests, something you're passionate about. I know, you have to think on this one; it's a little tougher than just pointing the camera at yourself and snapping an easy head shot.

And ... just to be sure no one gets bored this month, <grin!> ... here's one more wrinkle. Use a MIRROR in one or more shots. You can use it for any photo composition, or utilize it as a tool in your WILDFLOWER or SELF-PORTRAIT shots.
